No, that photo isn’t photoshopped. Taken on the 4th of July in Southern California, the DC-10 P-3 Orion fire retardant air-tanker takes a low flyby to drop its payloud on flames below… it’s an incredible shot. Check out The Big Picture for some more high-res shots of the fire fights of California.

This is not a DC 10, but a P3 Orion. DC 10 are jet aircraft & they do not have propellers. Get you planes straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
